Well in Makaylee’s case it’s a new book. A few months back right before Christmas she really became intrigued with reading. She was trying to read all the books we have here but they were too much for her. So I sent the teacher an email explaining Makaylee’s new love for reading and asked if she had any sight word books she could send home with her. Everyday since Makaylee has come home with a different book…..and just like that she began reading.
As soon as we walk through the front door she is already ripping open her backpack to pull out the book asking me if she can read it to me. After she is done with me she hits up Macey for some of her time so she can read it to her. As soon as Scott gets home she is wanting to read to him. By the time it gets close to bed she is asking me if she can read it to me again. I’m tickled she has this new eagerness and infatuation with reading.

Good Girl!!! My mom always said " if you can't read, you can't do it . Mee-Maw is very proud of you...who knows ..you might be the fir4st woman president !!!
