While attending Pre-K this year Makaylee has learned the Pledge of Allegiance. She sings it all the time. In fact she has know started doing auditions for sporting events. JK.
The other day we went to eat at Cracker Barrel and asked to be seated in front of the fireplace. While waiting on our food Makaylee gets up from the table walks over to the fireplace. But wait, she doesn't stop at the fireplace she walks over to the American Flag pole and starts reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. We were totally unaware that she was going to do this so you can only imagine how shocked we were. And if you know Makaylee, you wouldn't dare go up there and interrupt her during her big moment. So we just pretended we didn't know who's child that was up there. lol She came back to the table grinning ear to ear like she had just made her debut.
I love to hear her recite it, there are so many big words she either gets tongue tied or she runs the words together. In any event, she sounds so darn cute. Not that I'm biased or anything.
