Choosing My Battles

It was so nice outside today. I worked for several hours on the front porch turning it into a little southern front porch haven......I missed that in Idaho. Makaylee walks out the front door with her rain boots on and here it is 87 degrees outside. I learned a long time ago not to battle over the shoes because somehow I always wind up losing. After all, if she is happy I'm happy and shoes definitely makes this girl happy.
