Just Add Water...........

...........and you have a recipe for one happy girl. For two weeks now the first thing Makaylee asks me when I wake her in the mornings for school, "is it raining or sunny outside". She found her princess umbrella a couple of weeks ago and she has been dying to use it for school. Yesterday I told her it was sunny and she responded with, "I want rain".

She was one happy princess with her princess umbrella. By chance if you are wondering.....yes that is the same shirt she had on yesterday. She insisted she wear it to school today because it matched her umbrella. As a mother you sometimes have to choose your battles wisely. The was not a battle I did want to deal with this morning. Besides, the shirt did not look dirty and for her to ask to wear something two days in a row will most likely never happen again. You can't even get her to wear something a few days apart. Had it been visibly dirty I'm quite sure we would have had a melt down this morning by one particular four year old. I know....I'm a bad mom but hey....she went to school happy.

What good is an umbrella without a good umbrella twirl.
