Cacapon State Park

We headed up to the mountains today to see if the leaves had changed colors yet.  We packed a picnic lunch to take with us and the girls were excited about that.  On the way to Shenandoah Valley we came upon Cacapon State Park and decided to check it out.  Glad we need, I’m pretty sure we will be back visiting soon.  We found a picnic area to roast our hotdogs.  Had a yummy lunch, walked around the beautiful lake, let the girls run off some of their energy on the playground, drove to the top of the mountain and saw a gorgeous view over looking the valley, played in the streams.  Everything was perfect expect the millions of nats that kept attacking us.  We were blessed with another wonderful day.
