Discovering New and Old

Today we finally got to meet up with Carrie and Hadley. We tried to think of somewhere creative to take the kids so we came up with the Creative Discovery Museum. It was was a neat place where everything is hands on and that's what kids love. They had anything you could imagine that the kids could experiment with. They even had a whole floor of Curious George stations which was a huge plus because both of my girls love Curious George. Makaylee and Hadley had a great time together, they were just two silly girls all day long even during lunch. All they kept doing was singing and giggling, we couldn't even get them to eat. After the CDM and pizza we took the girls over to the waterfront for some good old fashion water playing. By this time it was scorching hot outside but we were able to find a nice shaded spot for Carrie and her baby bump to rest in. I think it was a winner all around for the kids, they seemed to have a blast. In fact Macey fell asleep in the stroller on the way to the car and that NEVER happens. It was a great day with the Harper's and I look forward to seeing them again soon I hope and meeting Miss Ellison this Christmas!!
